Alphabeasts Attack! is a co-operative word tower defence game where players need to work together to think of the best words to defend the world from the onslaught of the Alphabeasts. Each round, Alphabeasts will attack individual players as well as the middle of the playing area. Players will then think of one word to fight off as many Alphabeasts as they can. An Alphabeast can only be defeated if the letter is contained in the word, and an Alphaboss can only be defeated if the word fulfills a specific condition. Each Alphabeast that is not included in a player’s word becomes a scar, which is the defeat condition of the game. Defeated Alphabeasts can be scavenged for brains, which is the victory condition of the game.
